A beautifully preserved and unusually complete S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 Large from the 1970s, finished in the classic Diamond Head / Pointe de Diamant pattern and kept together with its original presentation box and period paperwork.
What makes this particular lighter especially collectible is the documentation. The original guarantee is dated 31 January 1977 and carries serial number VGAK97, the same serial number stamped on the lighter itself. Nearly fifty years later, the lighter, box and matching papers remain together as one set.
The lighter is marked 20µ, denoting S.T. Dupont's 20-micron gold-plated finish, and was made in France.
A particularly strong collector's set: not simply a loose vintage Dupont, but an original box, matching serial-numbered guarantee and surviving period documentation from one of S.T. Dupont's most celebrated eras.

- Very good vintage condition — Very well preserved for its age with light signs of use and surface wear consistent with a nearly 50-year-old vintage lighter. Original box and paperwork are present. Flint residue was found in the mechanism and carefully cleaned.
