Vintage German powder compact by Emrich, dating to approximately the 1950s. This elegant round compact features a ceramic floral decorated lid framed in gold-tone metal, with a beautifully preserved mirror and an original Emrich-branded powder puff inside. Emrich was a German manufacturer known for finely made vanity accessories and powder compacts during the mid-20th century. The compact remains in very good vintage condition, with normal age-related surface wear, light scratches and small areas of tarnish to the gold-tone metal. The floral ceramic decoration is particularly well preserved and the mirror is intact. The hinge pin protrudes slightly at one side but does not affect opening or closing. Marked EMRICH inside and GERMANY at the clasp. A beautifully preserved example of a mid-century German vanity accessory, equally suited to a vintage compact collection or as a decorative dressing-table piece.
